Language
Learning a language effectively is tough, however the value of a bilingual education cannot be overemphasized, hence the bilingual policy. MOE’s Mother Tongue Language Policy requires students to take a respective mother tongue language for Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE), Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level (‘O’ Level) and Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level (‘A’ Level). Be it Chinese, Malay or Tamil, most Singaporeans have grown up being able to converse in at least 1 non-english language. However, it is also a fact that many students are unable to cope with handling 2 languages and struggle to keep up in school. Aside from students, many adults are also exploring the option of taking up a 2nd or 3rd language, or improving their language profiency for their jobs or interest.
In our articles, we help to provide exam preparation tips, study hacks as well as learning resources to those who wish to improve their grasp of their languages.
