O level
A large number of students in Singapore go through the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level exam at the end of their 4th or 5th year of Secondary school (IGCSE would be an alternative to O levels). After the PSLE and N level examinations, this would be the next major milestone and high-stake examination for most parents and students as it determines if students would be able to go to the JC or Poly of their choice.
