Singaporean parents are Kiasu in nature and are very much involved in the education of their child throughout their Primary, Secondary and JC education. One cannot stress the importance of parental involvement in a child’s education. However, parental involvement often comes with challenges, and it is indeed hard to practice effective parenting.
