English
English is widely spoken in Singapore, yet not all students fare well when it comes to scoring in English exams. Unlike mother tongue languages, the MOE syllabus mandates students to be consistently tested in English in Primary and Secondary school, Language arts in the Integrated Programme (IP) Curriculum and finally General Paper at Junior College level. Incoming international students are even required to take International English Language Testing System (IELTS) before being admitted into a local university. Students are tested on listening comprehension, spoken (oral), grammar and also composition skills.
Our articles do well to help our students prepare for their examinations, providing tips to score well, advice on English tuition, touching on the syllabus for various exams, as well as study hacks for everyone to ensure effective learning.
