Many consider Chinese to be one of the hardest languages to pick up, and something that people of all ages struggle learning. It is also a known fact that the Singapore education system places great emphasis on being effectively bilingual. Special Assistance Plan Schools even require students to take higher chinese at a young age. Aside from students, many adults are also trying to improve their proficiency in Chinese in order to aid in their work progression.
