After overcoming PSLE as a hurdle, parents and their child now have to prepare for the move from Primary to secondary school. There are 4 main tracks/ streams in Secondary schools in Singapore, Integrated Programme (IP), Express, Normal Academic, Normal Technical, which then determine the next exam students would sit for i.e. A levels, O levels or N levels. Students have to handle more 6 to 9 subjects in Secondary school, a big jump from the 4 in Primary school, adding humanities and more science subjects into the mix.
