How do I find a Tuition Centre?
There are 2 ways to search for a tuition centre that fits your needs: By Level & Subject On the Home Page, there are 2 empty fields to select your preferred Level & Subject and Location which gives you a list of available tuition centres that best fit your preferences. By Tuition Centre Name At the Top Left of every page, there is a Search Bar beside the SmileTutor logo that allows you to key in the name of a tuition centre to dive right into the specific Listing page of that tuition centre.

What are Featured Tuition Centres?

Featured Tuition Centres are paid listings on the website. Featured tuition centre listings have more sections on their listings, such as the Cover Picture and the Awards & Testimonial sections, that allow them promote their tuition centres better.

How accurate are the class details, such as the schedule and pricing?

While SmileTutor encourages the tuition centres to update their listing information regularly, some information may not always be the most up-to-date. Users can refer to the last edited date on the top right of the listing page as an indicator of the accuracy.

Alternatively, if you want to book a class with that tuition centre that you aren’t very sure about, you can fill up the Enquiry Form on the right panel. Our Tuition Coordinators will contact the tuition centre for you, and provide you with the most up-to-date classes available to book.

Can I book a class directly in the tuition centre listing?

Yes. Some tuition centre listings have listed their available classes. You may click on the “BOOK NOW” at the end of each individual class details to send a booking enquiry to us.

Our Tuition Coordinators will get back to you within 1 – 12 hours regarding the booking enquiry and help to book your class within that tuition centre for you. A confirmation email will be sent to you once the tuition centre has reserved a slot in the class for you.

Is the Class Booking service free?

Yes, we do not charge parents and students for using our personalised Class Booking services.

I have no idea which tuition centre is suitable for me. What should I do?

You can request for a tuition centre recommendation via our GET RECOMMENDATIONS feature, accessible by clicking on the here.

You’d be prompted to fill up a short form that allows us to assess your preferences. Once we’ve received your recommendation request, our coordinators will drop you a call within 1-12 hours to clarify and then recommend tuition classes to you.

How does the GET RECOMMENDATIONS feature work?

If you do not know which tuition centre is the most suitable for your needs, you can request for a tuition centre recommendation via our GET RECOMMENDATIONS feature.

You’d be prompted to fill up a short form that allows us to assess your preferences. Once we’ve received your recommendation request, our coordinators will drop you a call within 1-12 hours to clarify and then recommend tuition classes to you.

After our coordinators have confirmed your preferences and shortlisted some tuition centres, we will drop you an email containing the details of the class(es) available for you. Simply click on the “Select Class” for your preferred class and we’ll secure a slot in the class for you!

Our Tuition Coordinators will determine the best available tuition centres based on these few factors:

  • Distance from your preferred location
  • Schedule of classes
  • Ranking and Reviews of the tuition centres on our website

Do I need to pay to get a Tuition Centre Recommendation?

No, our services for parents and students are completely free! This includes the personalised tuition centre recommendation and our class booking services. You’d only have to make payment to the tuition centres for your classes, and nothing more!

Can I trust the tuition centres recommended by SmileTutor?

SmileTutor treats the credibility of our tuition centre profiles very seriously. All verified tuition listings have went through a stringent vetting process that confirms the legitimacy of their businesses.

In addition, prior to the tuition centres recommendation, we’ll contact the tuition centres to verify and confirm some of the important information stated in their listings.

Can you tell me about the role of SmileTutor in my tuition classes?

SmileTutor provides class booking services for parents and students. We help to coordinate instructions and class booking for the first 4 weeks of lesson.

I have received aconfirmationemail of my class booking. What should I do now?

You do not need to do anything until your class starts on the stated date in the class details. However, some tuition centres may have specific instructions for your enrolment on the first lesson, which will differ for each tuition centre. This will be stated within the confirmation email. You may also contact the tuition centre directly if you have any clarifications to make.

How should I pay for the tuition classes booked?

You should pay for the tuition classes directly to the tuition centre itself. Please seek clarification for the payment methods and instructions directly from the tuition centres.

Can I postpone lessons dates & timings?

Yes, of course. Please contact the tuition centre if you wish to postpone lesson dates and timings. All postponements of lessons must be made at least 24 hours before the start of the lessons, except for special cases (such as medical emergencies). If the 24 hour notice is not given, you may be required to pay 1 lesson fee.

Do note that each tuition centre will have their unique instructions and policies regarding the postponements and cancellations, thus parents and students are encouraged to check thoroughly with the tuition centres to avoid misunderstandings.

Can I terminate a confirmed booking?

For classes that have not started

Yes, you may terminate your tuition class booking at no cost at least 24 hours before the start of the lesson (except for medical emergencies and other special cases). Please contact us at 6266 4495 to inform us of the cancellation. If the 24 hour notice is not given, you may be required to pay 1 lesson fee.

For classes that have already started (2nd lesson onwards)

Yes, please contact the tuition centre if you wish to cancel the class booking at least 24 hours before the start of the upcoming lesson (or as required by the tuition centre).Do note that tuition centres may have their own policies and instructions for class cancellations and termination, and parents and students are encouraged to check thoroughly with the tuition centres at the first opportunity.

You are required to pay for lessons already conducted.
