Learning made simple
Founded by 2 NTU Engineering graduates who gave up their chance at day jobs to teach in 2010, Engineers Angle Learning Centre (EALC) provides higher-level Physics and Mathematics tuition for Upper Secondary, Integrated Programme (IP) and Junior Colleges students.
Frustrated by the uninteresting manner Physics and Math is traditionally taught in schools, the founder of EALC (Mark and Edwin) thought they could do better and started EALC to help students ‘see the Engineers’ Angle’.
So far, their approach has worked encouragingly well and EALC has grown through pure word-of-mouth over the years and attract students from diverse background. Students would often recommend their friends and family after having experienced the lessons themselves.
We asked our students what they like about Engineers Angle and here’s what they say:
Learning in a more efficient, powerful way – We show you what is important and what will be tested, and the different types of questions that you will face; in other words, we hack the learning curve for you, instead of slogging through 1000 questions, you can achieve mastery with just practising 100.
Understanding from multiple approaches – We don’t just show you the solutions, we teach you how to recognise questions, tell-tale signs of traps and hints, we train you how to think, how to formulate your thought process and how to solve problems. We show you the Engineers’ Angle.
Approachable and dedicated tutors – The founders gave up their chance at day jobs to help students. There are no unqualified disinterested tutors at EALC. Here, helping students reach their potential is our passion. The founders of EALC personally teach full time at the centre, dedicating over 50 hours each week.
